[Last update - June 16 2007] Kristyrat - André Ouellette You're lucky, you get the speed/summarized version of my history in AMVs: - Started downloading them summer of 2004 - Started editing first video (The Demon Inside) December of '04
- First video worth any real mention is Angels and Demons - Massacre - Meddled with a bunch of MEPs and Iron Chefs after getting a little more active within the AMV community
- Kisanzi started yelling at me to edit a full video, so I sat down and edited Cognitive Dissonance, the first release under VNS, in about 12 hours. Now some (namely Kisanzi) will argue that this isn't considered a full video, but those people can shove it up their- Well, you get the point, I quite like that video. Though I think it's appropriate to mention that EVERYONE thought it was too short, so I guess I acheived my goal of making a teaser for the studio (and pissing people off :P) - Cue Kisanzi and myself trying to work out a title for our new studio, after branching off of ScoobsNet (now Divine Illusion Productions). After much thought, we settled on 'Visualized Nightmare Studios'. This being a suitable title, since it incorporated our (unique?) editing styles, and our constant pushing of the proverbial editing and effects envelope. - Valion was our main site developer and Webmaster, then turned editor to reap in the spoils of being a VNS editor, or something. In the prospect of typecasting, Valion is our Horror/Drama/Romance (funny story about that romance one) editor. >:O - We picked up Reigna next, after a very impressive first video, there was little doubt that she would be an excellent addition to the ranks, and there was no way we'd let RDS snatch her first :O She's our sappy drama editor. ;_;
- SenshiMamoru'd been chilling with Kisanzi for a while, and was looking for a studio that could better help him improve, and to push the limits of his editing. He's our Upbeat/Dance editor. \o/ - Finally and most recently, through some twist of fate, we picked up Reigna's sister, aka. Penguin #2, aka. Aerialesque after a little suggestion on my part, and unfortunately, she was the only one not able to attend Acen 07 this year. *sad* (VNS party Acen '08? :O) - Chances are, I'm currently editing some sort of video, so if you're ever looking for betas, just ask. No guarantee I'll acknowledge your input at all, but hey, you never know :P And of course, ever want a beta tested, throw it my way, and I promise not to be too harsh. Maybe.
- When I'm not editing, I'm usually messing around with friends, doing Photoshop stuff, audio editing, or eating little children. No wait, scratch that last one, I usually do that /while/ I edit. \Ö/ Cheers, [Kristyrat] (Krat) |
