Aerialesque - Danielle Ustica I'm Danielle, otherwise known as 'Aerialesque.' I've been a part of the AMV community for about a year now (since around mid-2006), and I've only been into anime for a short while longer than that. I was first exposed to AMV's years ago, when I downloaded a Final Fantasy video via some sort of file sharing program. I enjoyed watching them back then, but my access to a computer and the internet was rather limited, so I ended up forgetting about them. Then, during the middle of last year, I started watching anime, and soon after, my interest in music videos soon picked back up again.
It wasn't long before I started attempting to make my own videos, experimenting with footage using WMM. After a lot of trial and error and a few quickly put together videos, I stumbled across amv.org, found a more powerful editing program (Sony Vegas 6.0) and then started to take editing more seriously. From then on, it's been my constant goal to improve as much as possible, and I've been lucky enough to have a lot of help and encouragement from many people I've met along the way.
My favorite genres of videos to edit would have to be drama/romancy/sentimental stuff. One of the best parts of editing, for me, is to make something that can evoke an emotional response out of the viewer...so that's why I try to aim for with many of my videos. :)
Editing has become a strong passion of mine, and I don't see myself giving up on it anytime soon. I've come across many different editors that continue to inspire me in so many ways, and among them, I've made some pretty close friends. I'm glad to be a part of VNS...it helps me to keep pushing myself to improve, and it's really great to belong to a studio with people I really look up to. XD
